People Savers

Pauline from St Johns taught us how to;

  • put people on their sides so they don't swallow when they spew and choke.

  • That you pinch your nose and lean forward not backwards when you have a bleeding nose.

  • How important it is for people who are not well to have oxygen.

  • We learned how to dial 111 and give information for emergency services

We practiced what to do when someone is hurt.

  1. It was really interesting to learn how to put people in the recovery postition, and how to get them to a hospital.
    We only call/ phone 111 in a real emergency.

    Learning good skills such as first aid is excellent. You never know when you may need it. Stay warm.
